This book contains beautiful pictures. It's really "contemporary meets traditional", in the sense that it's not totally uniform in style, and there are different styles that hint at either direction, all in very good taste.
I used this book to get a feel for accessories and colors. Someone else might want more particular advice within the book about the color they used, names of companies, and other more direct advices. In my view, the "practical" aspect is scarce in the book.
