I was a little disappointed by this book. Some of the pictures are excellent, but some have way too much direct flash, or strange use of fish eye lenses. One photo is in front of a dumpster which he claims is artistic... maybe if the dumpster had been out of focus, but it was clearly a dumpster. Neil Van Niekerk's book was WAY more useful and his flash photography is superior.
I also was a little frustrated with his laundry list of shots to get. I felt exhausted reading it! It read too much like "run here, then run here, then run here, then do this and don't sit down because you have to capture this." That may be true, but I didn't find the list presented in a way that was helpful, just overwhelming.Get more detail about Step-by-Step Wedding Photography: Techniques for Professional Photographers.
