This book was written very well. It is like a book you would get in a school class. It has been changed in certain chapters to be specific to the Canon Powershot SX20 Is. It does come with a cd for your computer which has a few animations on it but it is the same as the book.The only thing I wish this book has was color photos which would make it easer to understand some of the photo comparisons. If you are just starting out in photography and own the Powershot SX20 IS I would recomend itGet more detail about A Short Course in Canon PowerShot SX20 IS Photography book/ebook.
