If you are brand new to AutoCAD, this book may be a bit difficult to understand. The author describes some of the more complicated commands before you really get a grasp of the program. If you have used AutoCAD before, this is an excellent reference with a lot of great information. The book does come with a 30 day trial version of AutoCAD 2010. I'm not saying don't buy the book if your new, it might just take a little while to grasp some of the concepts. I bought the book, since AutoCAD started using the ribbon.
