This was the first Chekhov work that I've read and it was so well-constructed that I can't wait to read another. This play is a quick read loaded with symbolism and emotion. It's loaded with realism that isn't entriely pessimistic. A good choice if you're in the mood for strong writing.Get more detail about Uncle Vanya.
