I will write a longer review when I have time, but wanted to hop on and say this book is par excellance for ANY constantly learning filmmaker, if only to admire the author's organizational skills in shooting and presenting the material in the book. The presentation alone clearly shows these fellas know what they are doing and the content is packed full of all kinds of tips and tricks and is enough to get any novice up and hitting the ground running hard and fast. Most old timers will find a trick or two, too. This is one of those novice to expert books, food for thought and a productivity enhancer.
This isn't just a book about DSLR's, it's a book about the whole filmmaking process from soup to nuts. It is an instruction manual, a cookbook, and a field guide all rolled into one.
